I am an experimental condensed matter physicist. My work is largely concerned with the transport properties of two-dimensional electron systems which exhibit novel strongly interacting phases. Recent projects include investigations of nematic electron phases, exciton condensates in bilayer electron systems, and tunneling and transport in graphene and related materials. I have lately grown interested in finding new ways to study highly disordered electronic systems.
